“Some conversations travel beyond the courtroom and the classroom”

Over the years, some of my work has found its way into different spaces-court proceedings, classrooms, moot court benches, podcasts and conversations around law and learning. I have kept a few of those moments together here.

Words That Stayed

Selection Academy began many years before the Learning Studio found its present form. While going back through some of those years, I came across reviews written by students at different stages of that journey. I had forgotten many of them. Reading them again felt a little like meeting an older version of the classroom.

“I was looking for an institute which provides quality education for CS-Professional. After searching and taking trial classes at various institutes my search ended when I came to know about Vandna mam from a friend, she is a pioneer when it comes to CS and Law and I feel blessed to be able to gain knowledge from her.”

“It is true that a crucial time comes in every students life wherein s/he has to decide which institute is good for him/her! a good institute is one with great highly qualified faculty , teacher who teaches students like her own children ! one who provides best written notes, takes regular test and clears all our doubts! one who never forces students to mug up topics and look what i found , i found an institute which provided actually all this ! this institute is best for cs ,llb , b.com coaching ! vanadana maam is very nice , highly qualified and explains all concepts very nicely also the fees charged is quite reasonable.”

“I got in touch with selection academy last month when i had the idea of giving an attempt to CLAT examination which is was 2 months away then We started with Logical Reasoning first and it was a cake walk to be honest with help of Vandana ma'am and her way of teaching and her belief in practical learning over rote learning :)”

“A brilliant place, both for professional as well as personal growth. It has been a truly wonderful experience learning from the highly accomplished and knowledgeable faculty. I would happily recommend Selection Academy to anyone looking for a sensitive and supportive mentor who can provide the perfect balance between imparting skills and caring for our emotional needs. I feel proud to be a part of the Academy.”

Vandna Beri Law Classes

The YouTube channel began during the Selection Academy years and was later renamed Vandna Beri Law Classes. The idea has remained much the same - to explain law without making it sound more difficult than it needs to be. Some videos are meant for students, some for young lawyers, and some simply begin with a legal question worth discussing.

From the Moot Court Bench

Sitting on a moot court bench is always interesting for me because it places me on the other side of the questions. Students arrive prepared with authorities and arguments, but sometimes one unexpected question tells you much more about how they have understood the problem than a perfectly prepared submission.
